Owned by a community of private owners, Miraflores is located in the region of Mijas Costa in the Province of Málaga. Mijas Costa describes the coastal landscape (Costa) of the small mountain village Mijas Pueblo.

By the way, Mijas Pueblo is a very enchanting village and it has won acclaim, among other things, for its famous "burro taxis". Donkeys are used in lieu of horses to draw carriages used as taxis by the tourists. If so inclined, you can also ride on the back of a donkey.

A visit to Mijas Pueblo and its attractive Old Town and ancient chapel, which was erected in honor of the community’s patron saint, the Virgen de la Peña, should be on your lists of sights to see along the Costa del Sol: just the views across the Mediterranean coast will take your breath away. Mijas is also home to a unique - rectangular bullfighting arena.

The condo community of Miraflores, located about 10 minutes from Fuengirola and Marbella can be easily reached via the Riviera del Sol exit off the Carretera Nacional N340, a four-lane expressway that runs along the Mediterranean coast. In normal traffic, transit time from the Málaga airport is about 30 minutes.

In addition to the national expressway you can optionally use Interstate A7, which is a tollway, to travel to and from Gibraltar or Málaga. A toll station close to the property can be reached in just 5 minutes and offers the fastest connection to all trip destinations along the coast, in the mountainous interior of the country and to more than 50 golf courses on the Costa del Sol.
